Pro Tips to Nail Your Closing Day Pond Skim
Pond Skimming Tips:
Speed is your friend.
Don’t lean back; keep your weight centered and tips up.
Bend your knees and keep your hands forward.
Bring an extra pair of boots for the day.
Wider skis (most skimmers say) help with float.
Wear a costume!
Have a blast!
Kids under 18 receive free trail passes and equipment rental when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Explore the free heel world with our certified telemark instructors and broaden your horizons during our Telebration event on March 15th & 16th.
Learn 2 Telemark Lessons will be available on the 15th at 1:00pm. Group Lessons tailored to the goals and desires of the group are available on the 16th at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Private lessons are also available all weekend.

Don't let a lack of gear stop you! We have a telemark rental fleet at 49° North and 22 Designs will be present with their whole fleet of bindings, SCARPA NTN boots, Voilé & MOMENT skis, and more. Get your turns in and then join the aprés with your fellow Tele fans to view Tele Colo's "This Ol' Mill" film at 5 pm on the 15th in the Boomtown Bar.
Whether you've never tried tele or are a seasoned knee dropper, this is a perfect opportunity to get out, improve your skills, and try new gear!

Join us for a Race and Demo day at the Nordic Center in partnership with North Division Cycle.
7 km race on a lower trail system with single track downhill sections, conditions permitting.
Register 9:30 – 10:30 am start 11 am. $20 registration fee (includes demo bike from North Division Cycle)

What is Toyota Ski Free Day?
The DRIVER of any TOYOTA who comes to the designated Ski the NW Rockies ski area on the designated day will receive a FREE lift ticket VALID FOR THAT DAY ONLY. No vouchers or passes are required. Just drive your Toyota to the mountain on that day.
Toyota representatives will be in the parking lot at each resort for each event under a Toyota tent. As a customer arrives in their Toyota they receive a free lift ticket for that day. It’s that simple.
If multiple people show up in a Toyota and they all show proof of ownership, ONLY THE DRIVER OF THE TOYOTA THAT IS THERE WILL RECEIVE THE FREE LIFT TICKET.

Be prepared to be directed into parking lot #4 (directly across from the Nordic Center) to pick up your swag and ticket, there is no reservation needed; other than to show up in your Toyota!
Homeschool Program (Ages 5-17)
We offer 5-week programs on Mondays for Homeschool Students ages 5-17. Classes focus on getting your child outside and exploring more of the mountain! Students are sorted by ability level.

Women's Clinic (Ages 15+)
10 am-12 pm
Our Women's Clinic Series provides a safe and supportive environment for all ability levels of skiers and snowboarders to develop new skills. We offer monthly clinics throughout the season to help you continue your progress or to help you break past that plateau. Whether you are looking to conquer new terrain or you've been stuck in a rut, we have the coaches to help you achieve your goals! Our focus for each clinic will be based on the day's conditions and the participant's goals. Please let us know when you register if you have any specific educational goals. A lift ticket or pass is required to participate in the lesson.
2-Hour Group Lesson Price: $69

1 day | Ages 13+ Learn to cross-country ski and tour 49 Degrees North Nordic Area trails! You will be taught the basics of cross-country skiing by 49 Degrees North certified P.S.I. Ski instructors. Instruction includes the basics of equipment, and techniques on how to glide on your skis, travel uphill, and stop going downhill. After a fun lesson, we will hit the trails to tour the area trying out our new skills. Beautiful scenery and exercise are what cross-skiing is all about! Includes: skiing equipment, trail pass, and instruction. Bring lunch and plenty of water. 10 am-2 pm $75
